Fixed Income

• USD 100 million medium term Credit Facility: Sourced, negotiated, and structured an Sovereign Guarantee backed credit facility for an emerging market’s largest state-owned bank. Loan facility structured similarly to a Credit Linked Note (CLN), allowing for trading in the private secondary market.
  USD 50 million Export Finance Framework Agreement: Negotiated and structured Export Credit Agency backed global Framework Agreement for medium term financings of capital equipment and infrastructure projects. Financings backed by an emerging market Sovereign Guarantee.
  USD 70 million Telecommunications Project Finance: Negotiated and structured an emerging market syndicated project finance financing. Funding sources included Export Credit Agency backed loans and a regional Development Financial Institution credit facility.

Corporate Finance

• Negotiated and structured creation of a cross border insurance and re-insurance brokerage & risk management consultancy partnership between an emerging market investment company and a European insurance & reinsurance broker. Post transaction, provided strategic guidance as the board representative of the investment company. The resulting joint venture Company is one of the largest market share participants.
• Negotiated documentation for USD 25 million limited partnership commitment to US$426 million private equity fund focused on the financial services technology sector.
• Analyzed business plan, performed valuation analysis, and evaluated strategic options for North American transportation sector client considering restructuring of subsidiary.  Options included joint venture, tax free spin/split-off, equity carve out/initial public offering, or sale of minority stake to strategic investor.
• Securitization of revenue from natural resources extraction.

Project Development

• Negotiation of EUR382 million transport infrastructure development project with export credit agency support.
